Yes, it totally made my day. My week! My month!
But it does remind me that even the biggest writers like to hear from their readers. I've gotten responses from every writer I've ever written to (it's only been a total of about four). I think I just didn't really expect it this time. And I've been so happy to hear from anyone who has enjoyed anything I've written.
I have to say, I didn't really faint, but I did get a little teary.
